At Causeware, we recognize that privacy is important. This Policy applies to all of the products, services, and websites such as UberSquare.com that are offered by Causeware LLC(collectively, Causeware's "services"). Causeware is committed to protecting your privacy and we adhere to the US safe harbor privacy principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity, Access and Enforcement.

Information we collect and how we use it:

• When you sign up for an UberSquare Account, we ask you for personal information (such as your user name, email address and an account password). We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• All project postings, comments, and feedbacks are stored in our database. Web sites not affiliated with Causeware such as search engines may archive or otherwise make available the UberSquare project postings, comments, and feedbacks.
• We do not collect credit card or bank information. We work with payment processing companies such as PayPal to process online payments securely.
• Our web logs collect standard web log information for each web page served. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and zero or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We use web logs to help diagnose problems, and to administer the Causeware services.
• When you send email or other communication to Causeware services, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
• Causeware does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 13. If Causeware learns that an account is created by a person under the age of 13, Causeware will remove the account and its associated projects, comments, and feedbacks.
• This Privacy Policy applies to products, services, and websites that are owned and operated by Causeware. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of the sites displayed as links from within our various products, services, and websites.

Information security and integrity

Your information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. We make good faith efforts to secure the data but we cannot guarantee complete security. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

Accessing and updating personal information

We make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Once you make a project posting or comment, you may not be able to change or remove it.

Disclosure of your personal information

Causeware may be required by law to disclose information about its users in the event of emergency situations or when required by government or other legal authority. Causeware may also disclose information to:

• service providers under contract such as fraud investigations who help with our business operations;
• third parties in connection with a corporate re-organization, merger or amalgamation, or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets, provided that the personal information disclosed continues to be used for the purposes permitted by this Privacy Policy by the entity acquiring this information;
• enforce our Terms of Service or respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties;

Please be advised that you do not post any personal information on our forums, project postings, or comments that you expect to keep private.

Changes to this policy

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time and we expect most such changes will be minor. We will post any Policy changes on the UberSquare website and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
